Q1: What size Trek Wahoo 24 Path do I need?
Trek recommends the Wahoo 24 Path for kids ages 8–12 who are about 130–150 cm (4'3"–4'11") tall. If your child is at the shorter end of that range, or still building confidence, the 20" Wahoo Path may be a better fit for now. Taller or older riders may be ready for the 26" version. Q2: Is the Trek Wahoo 24 Path right for the Okanagan Rail Trail?
Yes, it's a great family trail bike. The 2" Bontrager Connection Comp tyres roll quickly on paved sections and hold traction on the trail's packed gravel stretches. The 11-38 gear range makes small hills manageable for young legs. The light aluminum frame means kids can keep going longer before they tire out. It's also a good fit for the Mission Creek Greenway and neighbourhood rides.

Q3: How do I know when my child has outgrown their bike?
Common signs include knees coming up close to the handlebars while pedalling, the saddle already raised to its maximum safe height, or your child looking cramped and hunched over. Many kids move out of a 24" bike once they're taller than about 150 cm (4'11"), which is the top of Trek's recommended range for the Wahoo 24 Path.
