Product details

Whether you’re sharing the road on an Okanagan road loop or riding the KVR where it crosses busy roads, being seen by drivers matters as much as seeing the road. The Trek Ion 200 RT is a compact, USB-rechargeable daytime running light that puts out up to 200 lumens from a high-power CREE LED. Its distinctive flash pattern is visible from up to 2 km away in daylight. At just 32 g, it adds almost nothing to your bike. It connects with compatible ANT+ devices, so you can control it and check its battery status from your head unit.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Ion 200 RT is for road riders, commuters and anyone who wants to be more visible to traffic in daylight, as well as riders looking for a light, low-profile front light for short after-dark rides. It’s also a good pick if you already use a Garmin or Trek ANT+ device and want your light integrated with it. Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How do I mount the Ion 200 RT on my bike?
It comes with a Quick Connect bracket that attaches to your handlebars. A Blendr-compatible bar mount is also available separately for a cleaner, more secure setup on compatible bikes. If you’re unsure which mount suits your bars, bring your bike in and our staff will help.

Q2: Is the Ion 200 RT bright enough for night riding?
It’s designed mainly as a daytime running light to make you visible to traffic. At 200 lumens, it works well for being seen and for short rides on lit streets. For riding dark roads or trails, a higher-output light like the Trek Ion Pro RT (1,300 lumens) is the better choice.

Q3: Is the Ion 200 RT compatible with my Garmin or other bike computer?
It connects with compatible ANT+ devices for always-on, battery status and wireless control. Bring your device in and our staff can confirm compatibility and help you pair it.
