Long Okanagan valley road routes reward bikes that stay comfortable for hours — and the Trek Domane AL 5 Gen 4 is built exactly for that. Founded on Trek's 100 Series Alpha Aluminium frame with a full carbon fork and the endurance geometry the Domane line is known for, the AL 5 steps things up meaningfully with a Shimano 105 R7100 2×12 mechanical drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes, and tyre clearance up to 38mm. It's a bike that handles everything from a fast group ride to a loaded day on mixed roads — and grows with the rider as their ambitions do.

WHO IS THIS FOR |
The Domane AL 5 Gen 4 is the right choice for riders who are ready to invest in a genuinely capable endurance road bike and want a groupset they won't outgrow quickly. The step to Shimano 105 R7100 12-speed brings noticeably crisper shifting and a wider gear range than the Tiagra-equipped AL 4, while the 105 hydraulic disc brakes deliver confident, well-modulated stopping in all conditions. It suits riders building toward longer events — gran fondos, multi-day tours, or simply consistent high-kilometre seasons on Okanagan roads — who want comfort and performance in the same package without moving to carbon. Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425. |

HOW TO SET UP |
As a certified Trek dealer, our team can dial in your contact points before you leave — saddle height, bar reach, and stem length all affect how the Domane AL 5 feels across long days, and getting these right from the start saves a lot of discomfort down the road. We'll also set tyre pressure for the roads you're riding: the Bontrager R1 Hard-Case Lite tyres are tubeless-ready, and if you want to run them tubeless, our mechanics can set that up in-store. The Blendr-compatible stem makes it straightforward to add a cycling computer, and we carry a full range of Bontrager accessories to complement the cockpit. We're also happy to talk through cleat alignment if you're coming onto clipless pedals for the first time. Drop into Fresh Air Pandosy (555 Groves Ave) or Fresh Air Dilworth (1656 Dilworth Drive), or book an appointment online. |
