A day at Big White can start in bright sun and end in fog, so a lens that adapts as the light changes is a big advantage. The Salomon Sentry Pro S SIGMA™ Photochromic pairs Salomon’s colour-amplifying SIGMA™ lens technology with a photochromic Sky Blue lens rated Cat. 1–3 for all weather. The lens adapts to the conditions and enhances contrast so you can read terrain variations more easily. The smaller frame is designed to better fit women and riders with narrower faces. Salomon’s Custom ID fit and triple-layer face foam adapt to different face shapes for comfort. An airflow system pulls moisture out to manage fog, and the cylindrical lens gives a wide vertical and horizontal field of view. The goggle is designed to integrate with Salomon helmets, with a silicone-backed strap for a secure grip.

WHO IS THIS FOR

The Sentry Pro S SIGMA Photochromic is for skiers and snowboarders with smaller or narrower faces who want one goggle that handles everything from bluebird days to flat light. It suits riders at Big White and Silver Star who’d rather not carry a spare lens and want a goggle that adapts as conditions change through the day. Riders with average or larger faces should look at the standard-size Sentry Pro.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size goggle?
The Sentry Pro S is Salomon’s small-fit version, designed for women and riders with narrower faces. The foam should seal evenly around your face without pressing on the bridge of your nose, and the frame should sit flush with your helmet. If it feels tight or leaves gaps, the standard-size Sentry Pro may suit you better. Try both in-store with your helmet.

Q2: Is the Sentry Pro S Sigma compatible with my helmet?
Salomon designs the Sentry Pro S to integrate with Salomon helmets for fit and airflow, and the silicone-backed strap grips securely on the helmet shell. It can work with many other brands, but fit varies by helmet shape, so bring your helmet in and our staff will check that there’s no gap at the forehead.

Q3: What VLT% lens should I choose for Okanagan conditions?
Okanagan ski days can swing from bright sun to low cloud and fog, especially at Big White. A photochromic Cat. 1–3 lens like this one adapts across that range, covering everything from overcast and flat light (Cat. 1) to sunny days (Cat. 3), so one lens handles most days. Salomon also offers SIGMA™ replacement lenses for the Sentry Pro S if you’d like a dedicated option for one type of condition.
