A Big White day can go from bluebird to full fog before lunch, and the Salomon Sentry Prime Sigma is built for exactly that kind of change. It ships with two SIGMA™ contrast-enhancing lenses, a dark Cat. 3 lens for sun and a light Cat. 1 lens for storm days and flat light, and the magnetic lens system lets you swap between them on the chairlift without taking off your gloves. A low-profile cylindrical frame, Salomon’s Custom ID Fit foam and a wide silicone-backed strap keep the goggle comfortable and stable on the face, while the Amplified Vision lens shape gives you a wide field of view on both the horizontal and vertical axes.

Q1: How do I find the right size Salomon Sentry Prime Sigma goggle?
The Sentry Prime Sigma comes in one frame size. The right fit means the foam seals evenly around your face with no pressure points on the nose bridge, and the top of the frame sits close to your helmet brim. Try it on with your own helmet in-store so our staff can confirm the fit.

Q2: Is the Salomon Sentry Prime Sigma compatible with my helmet?
Salomon designs the Sentry Prime Sigma for fit integration and airflow with Salomon helmets, and the 50 mm silicone-backed strap grips securely on helmet shells. It will work with many other helmets, but frame shape and brim height vary by brand, so bring your helmet in and we’ll check for gaps.

Q3: What VLT% lens should I choose for Okanagan conditions?
That’s why this goggle includes two lenses. Use the Cat. 3 SIGMA™ lens (12% VLT) on bright, sunny days at Big White and Silver Star, and switch to the Cat. 1 SIGMA™ lens (52% VLT) for fog, snowfall and flat light, which are common up top on Okanagan mountains. The Cat. 1 lens is also the better choice for evening and night skiing.
