FAQ

How do I know if these bindings are compatible with my boots?
The Strive 16 MN is Multi-Norm certified, meaning it's built to work with Alpine, GripWalk, and touring adult boot soles. Bring your boots into either Fresh Air location and our team will confirm fit and compatibility before mounting.

Do I need to get these bindings mounted, or can I install them myself?
Bindings should always be professionally mounted and DIN-tested — this isn't a DIY job. Our certified technicians will mount your Strive 16 MN bindings and set your DIN correctly based on your height, weight, boot sole length, and ability level at either Kelowna location.

What DIN setting is right for me, and why does it matter?
Your DIN setting controls how much force it takes for your boot to release from the binding in a fall — set it too high and you risk injury from a binding that won't release; too low and you risk unwanted pre-release. It depends on your height, weight, boot sole length, age, and ability level, which is why we always set it in-store rather than by guesswork.

SPECS

TOE PIECE

LDN Toe: Ultra-low center of gravity toe piece with an extra-wide pedal and neutral stance, built to deliver the pure feel of the terrain.

Elastic Travel (47mm): Ultimate elastic travel on the wings holds the boot back through bigger shocks and minimizes the risk of pre-release.

XL Wings: Long wings that envelop the tip of the boot to provide increased power transmission and confidence.

Extra-Wide Toe Pedal (>60mm): A super-wide pedal for the best lateral power transmission from skier to ski, built for intense freeskiing.
