Product details

The Salomon Sight is an all-mountain snowboard built to feel at home whether you're carving Silver Star's groomed cruisers or chasing softer lines at Big White. Its tapered directional shape and Cross Profile rocker/camber layout float the nose in fresh snow while camber underfoot keeps it locked in and predictable when the trail firms up. With an Aspen and Popster wood core, Royal Cork Pads in the sidewalls, and a medium flex, the Sight is built for riders who want a freeride-inspired feel without needing to be an expert to enjoy it — a great match for progressing through a full Okanagan season.

KEY FEATURES

Tapered Directional shape with a 20mm setback stance for float in soft snow

Cross Profile — camber underfoot for control and pop, rocker in tip and tail for easy float and turn initiation

Aspen wood core with Popster milling for a lively, naturally responsive flex

Quadratic Sidecut for smooth, easy edge-to-edge transitions

Royal Cork Pads in the ABS sidewalls for vibration damping

Medium flex (3/5) for a versatile, forgiving ride

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Sight is built for intermediate riders who are progressing beyond rental gear and want a freeride-inspired feel that's still approachable and confidence-building. It's a great pick for someone who splits their days between Silver Star's groomers and softer Big White conditions.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right board and size in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q.What does the Cross Profile rocker/camber do on the Salomon Sight?
Cross Profile blends camber underfoot, which gives you solid edge grip and pop on firmer snow, with rocker in the tip and tail that lifts the contact points for easier turn initiation and better float when conditions get soft.

Q.How does the Salomon Sight compare to the Salomon Assassin?
The Sight is the more accessible board in Salomon's freeride-inspired lineup, with a medium flex and an extruded base built for easy maintenance, while the Assassin sits above it with a stiffer build and a faster sintered base aimed at more advanced, hard-charging riders.

Q.Is a tapered directional shape good for riding switch?
A tapered shape like the Sight's is built primarily for riding forward — the wider nose and narrower tail bias the board toward floating in soft snow, so while it can be ridden switch in a pinch, it won't feel as balanced switch as a true twin shape.
