The Shift binding slides along a plate mounted on the ski, and you don’t need any tools to move it. To adjust it, step out of your skis and slide the binding. Moving it forward gives you more grip and control, which helps on icy or hilly trails. Moving it back gives you more glide for fast, flat sections. It’s an easy way to fine-tune the ski to the day’s conditions.
