Product details

The Salomon Huck Knife Grom junior snowboard is built for young riders who spend their days lapping the park features at Big White and Silver Star. Its True Twin shape and Quad Camber profile give advancing kids the pop and edge hold to progress on rails, boxes, and jumps, while staying playful enough for side hits and jibs anywhere on the Okanagan hill.

KEY FEATURES

Quad Camber profile — camber-strong zones underfoot blended with rocker at the tip and tail for a forgiving but reactive, poppy feel

True Twin shape with EQ Rad sidecut for symmetrical, switch-friendly park riding

Aspen Strong Core (FSC certified wood) with Popster construction, milled around the insert packs for added pop off the lip

BA LD fiberglass laminate keeps the board light while holding a playful, forgiving flex

Freestyle Edge Bevels — detuned tip and tail with a tuned mid-section for edge hold with fewer hang-ups on rails

Sintered base with natural wax and stone finish for good glide and easy upkeep

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Huck Knife Grom is built for advanced young riders who are ready to push their park and freestyle skills further, from rails and boxes to bigger jumps. Its stiffer flex and reactive camber reward a rider who's already comfortable in the terrain park.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right ski/board and size in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q.What is Quad Camber and how does it help with pop?
Quad Camber blends multiple camber zones of different radiuses with rocker at the tip and tail. That combination keeps the aggressive pop and edge hold of a traditional camber board while staying more forgiving underfoot, which makes it easier to load up and pop off rails, boxes, and jump lips.

Q.Is the Huck Knife Grom good for beginners, or is it just for advanced riders?
This board is built with a stiffer flex and a reactive camber profile aimed at advanced young riders who are already comfortable in the park. A newer rider working on their basics will usually be better served by a softer, more forgiving freestyle board.

Q.What size Huck Knife Grom should I get for my kid?
Snowboard sizing depends mainly on your child's height, weight, and boot size rather than age alone. Our staff can measure your child in-store and help you pick the right length from the available sizes so the board matches their ability level and the tricks they're working on.
