What’s the difference between classic and skate cross-country ski boots?
Classic boots like the Equipe Pro Classic BOA have a flexible forefoot so your foot can roll through the kick-and-glide stride. Skate boots have a stiff sole and a high, supportive cuff for lateral push-off. The two aren’t interchangeable for performance skiing, so pick the boot that matches the technique you ski most.

Are Salomon Prolink boots compatible with NNN and Turnamic bindings?
Yes. Prolink boots work with Prolink, NNN and Turnamic bindings, which makes them easy to pair with most current Nordic setups. They aren’t compatible with older SNS Profil bindings.

Is BOA better than traditional laces on cross-country boots?
BOA lets you tighten or loosen your fit in small steps with a single dial, even with gloves on. It also spreads pressure evenly across the foot, with no laces to freeze or come undone. Racers and skiers who adjust their fit mid-session tend to appreciate it most.

Fit: 102 Performance Fit. This is a medium-volume last that holds the foot firmly while staying comfortable.

Flex: Classic Flex. The forefoot bends easily for a natural classic stride, while the stiff rear section keeps things stable and transfers power.

Shell Material: Carbon Loaded™ chassis with 3D Chassis System Classic. The carbon construction adds stiffness for stability and energy return.

Sole / Binding Compatibility: Prolink. The boot fits Prolink, NNN and Turnamic bindings.

Lacing System: BOA® L6 with Second Skin construction. It’s a low-profile dial that tightens the whole upper around your foot.

Heel Strap: Adjustable. It locks the heel in place for a more efficient kick.

Weather Protection: ClimaSalomon™ waterproof membrane and waterproof zipper. They keep snow and moisture out of the boot.
