Product details

The Salomon Bliss Women's Snowboard is designed for riders progressing beyond the rental fleet and ready to link stronger turns on Silver Star's groomed cruisers. Its tapered directional shape and Cross Profile camber (Rocker/Camber/Rocker) deliver stable, confidence-building control underfoot with a forgiving rockered tip and tail, so you can build skills on the groomers before venturing into Big White's softer, more playful terrain.

FEATURES

Cross Profile camber (Rocker/Camber/Rocker) — camber underfoot for control and pop, rocker at tip and tail for effortless float and forgiveness

Tapered directional shape with a slightly wider nose for easier turn initiation and float in softer snow

Aspen Strong core with CNC-selected wood strips for predictable, impact-resistant flex

Quadratic sidecut blends elliptic curves for smooth turn initiation and fluid edge-to-edge transitions

Royal Cork Pads dampen vibration for a smoother ride on firm resort snow

Extruded EG base for easy at-home maintenance with strong glide characteristics

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Bliss is built for beginner to intermediate riders who are ready to move past the bunny hill and start linking confident turns across the whole mountain. Its medium flex and forgiving profile make it easy to progress on without feeling flimsy underfoot.

FAQ

What does Cross Profile camber mean and is it good for beginners?
Cross Profile pairs camber underfoot with rocker at the tip and tail. The camber underfoot gives you solid edge control and pop when you're ready to push a turn, while the rockered tip and tail keep the board forgiving and less likely to catch an edge — a good combination for riders still building confidence.

Is the Salomon Bliss a good first snowboard for progressing riders?
Yes — it's built with a soft-to-medium flex and a tapered directional shape specifically for beginner-to-intermediate riders who've outgrown rental boards. It's forgiving enough to build turns on without feeling unstable, and has enough structure to grow with you as your riding improves.

What's the difference between a tapered directional shape and a true twin snowboard?
A true twin is symmetrical nose to tail for riding equally well in both directions, while a tapered directional shape like the Bliss has a wider nose and narrower tail built to ride mainly in one direction. That taper helps the nose float in softer snow and makes turn initiation easier, at the tradeoff of being less suited to riding switch.
