WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Olmeri is for kids who spend winter outside. Q1: How does Reima sizing run? Is it true to size, or should I size up or down, and does it leave room for a base layer?
Reima kids’ sizes are based on your child’s height. The Olmeri includes Reima’s Room to Grow feature, which adds 6 cm, so you get a bit of extra length for growth spurts. The pant is very stretchy and slips easily over a thin base layer. Most families buy the size that matches their child’s current height. Bring your child in-store and we’ll help you find the right size.

Q2: Is this fleece pant warm and waterproof enough for a ski day at Big White or SilverStar?
The Olmeri is warm, but it isn’t waterproof. It’s a fleece mid-layer, not an outer pant. On the hill, wear it under a waterproof ski pant, where it adds insulation while moisture moves away from the skin. For cold, dry Okanagan days, a base layer plus the Olmeri plus a waterproof shell pant keeps kids comfortable from first chair to last run.

Q3: How do I care for Seawool® fleece so it stays soft and keeps moving moisture well?
Always follow the care label on the garment first. In general, wash fleece inside out in cool water with a mild detergent, and skip fabric softener, which can coat the fibres and slow drying. Line drying works well because the fabric dries quickly. Reima also publishes care and repair guides on its website.
