Product details

The ZipFit Gara LV ski boot liner is built for strong all-mountain skiers who want precise edge control everywhere, from steeps and chopped-up powder at Big White to bumps and fast groomers at Silver Star. Its forward-leaning design and moderately stiff cuff keep you balanced and driving the ski, while self-molding cork locks in your heel and won't pack out. ZipFit calls the Gara its signature liner, and Blister named it a Best Of every year from 2020 to 2024.

FAQ

Q.ZipFit Gara LV vs Gara HV: which should I choose?
Both share the Gara's forward-leaning, performance-oriented design; the difference is volume. The Gara LV comes pre-packed with less cork and is built for low to mid volume performance boots. If your shell has more room than the LV can fill, ZipFit recommends the Gara HV instead. The best way to choose is to have your shell and foot checked together, since the right liner depends on how much space there is inside your boot.

Q.How long do ZipFit liners last?
Much longer than most foam liners. ZipFit's OMFit cork doesn't compress or pack out the way foam does, and cork can be added to the pouches over time to keep the fit dialed. Many skiers report hundreds of days in a single pair, and some move the same liners into a new set of shells when their boots wear out. With proper care, a pair can easily outlast several boot shells.

Q.How do you put on ZipFit liners?
Most skiers find it easiest to put the liner on their foot first, cinch the laces, and then step into the shell. This keeps the heel and midfoot properly positioned and makes getting into a snug performance boot much easier. Taking them off works the same way in reverse: open the buckles fully and pull your foot out with the liner still on. A boot horn can also help and protects the liner over time.
