When winter closes in on the Okanagan valley road routes, an indoor setup that's always ready makes staying consistent much easier. The Zwift Ride V2 with KICKR CORE 2 is Wahoo's all-in-one setup for riding in the worlds of Zwift and ROUVY. It pairs the Zwift Ride smart frame, with controls at your fingertips, with the KICKR CORE 2 smart trainer for responsive resistance and reliable power. It's designed for simplicity: a single tool stowed on the frame handles assembly, bike fit, and switching between users. The frame adjusts for riders from 147 to 198 cm. The V2 update adds multiple crank lengths, more saddle adjustability, and redesigned, larger-diameter handlebars, all in a quiet footprint smaller than a traditional bike and trainer.

KEY FEATURES

Frame: Zwift Ride V2 smart frame fits riders 147–198 cm (4'10"–6'6"), with a 57.1–86.5 cm saddle height range and a 73 cm stepover height. It adjusts using the frame key stored in the frame, so there are no tools to find.

Trainer: KICKR CORE 2 with electromagnetic resistance, up to 1,800W, and ±2% power accuracy. In-game gradient changes automatically adjust resistance on climbs and descents.

Shifting & controls: Silent virtual shifting through the pre-installed Zwift Cog, with a customisable gear setup. The handlebar controllers let you shift, steer, queue workouts, fire PowerUps, and send RideOns without pausing.

Cockpit: Redesigned, larger-diameter handlebar, 42 cm centre to centre, with an 82.2–102.1 cm height range. The saddle measures 160mm W x 245mm L and offers more adjustability than V1.

Crank length: Five crank length settings (160, 165, 170, 172.5, and 175mm).

Connectivity: WiFi and Bluetooth for faster pairing and automatic firmware updates. KICKR Bridge streams heart rate and other sensor data through the trainer, and WiFi-only Race Mode raises the power broadcast rate from 1 Hz to up to 10 Hz.

Weight: 35.4 kg / 78 lb. Maximum rider weight is 120 kg / 264.6 lb, and the footprint is 135.9 x 60.2 cm.

Everything in the box: Flat pedals (compatible with standard road and mountain pedals), a thru axle, an Allen key, a frame key, a phone tray mat, a charging cable, and cable tidies. A Zwift membership is sold separately.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Zwift Ride V2 with KICKR CORE 2 is built for dedicated Zwifters and newcomers who want a permanent, always-ready indoor setup instead of mounting a road bike on a trainer. It's especially well suited to households sharing one indoor bike, since the frame adjusts from 147 to 198 cm and the frame key makes switching riders quick. Riders will appreciate controlling everything in Zwift without taking their hands off the bars, the silent virtual shifting, and a compact, quiet setup that fits into a home more easily than a traditional bike and trainer.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

HOW TO SET UP

Our team can help you get the Zwift Ride V2 dialled in for every rider in your home. We'll set saddle height, handlebar height, and crank length for each person using the frame key stored in the frame, so switching riders is quick. If you ride clipless, we can swap the included flat pedals for your standard road or mountain pedals and check your cleat alignment. We'll also walk you through charging and pairing the handlebar controllers, connecting the KICKR CORE 2 over WiFi and Bluetooth, and setting up the Wahoo app for ERG and SIM trainer control. We're here for ongoing advice on firmware updates, fit changes, and getting the most out of your indoor season.

FAQ

Q1: What size Wahoo Zwift Ride V2 do I need?
The Zwift Ride V2 comes in one fully adjustable size that fits riders from 147 cm (4'10") to 198 cm (6'6"), up to 120 kg (264.6 lb). The saddle height adjusts from 57.1 to 86.5 cm, the handlebar height from 82.2 to 102.1 cm, and there are five crank length settings from 160mm to 175mm. That range makes it easy to share between riders of very different heights. See Wahoo's bike fit guide (linked above), and visit either Fresh Air location if you'd like help setting it up.

Q2: Is the Wahoo Zwift Ride V2 right for training for Okanagan valley road season?
Yes, it's a convenient way to stay consistent through a Kelowna winter. Because it's always set up and ready, it's easy to fit in a ride before or after work. In-game gradient changes adjust the KICKR CORE 2's resistance, so you can train for sustained climbs like the approach toward Myra Canyon. With a Wahoo app subscription, you can also follow structured workouts from Wahoo SYSTM or turn past rides into indoor routes. You'll roll into spring riding and early-season gran fondos with your fitness intact.

Q3: Does the Zwift Ride V2 include a Zwift membership, and which apps does it work with?
A Zwift membership is not included and must be purchased separately, billed monthly or annually. The hardware includes everything you need to start riding: the smart frame, the KICKR CORE 2 with a pre-installed Zwift Cog, and handlebar controllers. Wahoo describes the setup as built for Zwift and also lists ROUVY compatibility, and the Wahoo app can control the trainer in ERG and SIM modes. The handlebar controllers connect over Bluetooth only, and Apple TV users pair through the Zwift Companion app.
