Product details

From quick lakeside spins to long days of Okanagan road climbing, the Speedplay Zero is built to handle every kind of road ride. Wahoo designed it to stand up to everything from all-out racing to the grind of a double century, with a stainless steel spindle and triple sealed cartridge and needle bearings for long-lasting durability with minimal maintenance. The symmetrical, dual-sided design lets you clip in quickly without looking down. Its 11.5 mm stack height (3-hole) keeps your foot close to the axle for efficient power transfer. Paired with the included Standard Tension Cleats, the Zero offers 3-axis adjustability, including micro-adjustable float from 0° to 15° that lets your heel pivot freely for comfort and efficiency. A slim profile gives generous cornering clearance, and the walkable cleat design adds stability off the bike.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size Speedplay Zero?
The pedal body comes in one size. The standard spindle gives a 53 mm Q-factor, and Wahoo offers longer 56, 59 and 65 mm spindle options through authorized Speedplay dealers. Longer spindles can help riders with wider hips or stances, or anyone whose heels rub the crank arms. Spindle length stocked: [VERIFY]. Ask our staff if you think you need a longer option.

Q2: Is the Speedplay Zero compatible with my shoes and cleats?
The Zero fits standard 3-hole road shoes, and a 4-hole adaptor plate is available separately. It comes with Standard Tension Cleats and is also compatible with Speedplay Easy Tension Cleats, sold separately, for a lighter release. Speedplay pedals are designed for road cycling only. Wahoo recommends keeping your cleats clean before and during every ride, since off-road riding can damage the cleats or lodge debris inside them.

Q3: What’s the difference between the Speedplay Zero, Comp, Aero and Nano?
All four share the same dual-sided platform and 3-axis adjustable cleat. The differences are in spindle material, weight and rider weight limit. The Zero uses a stainless steel spindle at 222 g/pair with no rider weight limit. The Comp uses chromoly at 232 g/pair and ships with Easy Tension cleats. The Aero is also stainless at 224 g/pair. The Nano is the lightest at 168 g/pair, with a titanium spindle and a carbon body, but has an 82 kg (180 lb) rider weight limit.
