Product details

On long Okanagan road climbs, every gram you save is one less you have to haul uphill. The Speedplay Nano is Wahoo’s lightest Speedplay pedal at just 168 g per pair, built for sprint finishes, categorized climbs and hard training sessions. A titanium spindle and carbon composite body keep weight down without giving up strength, and triple sealed cartridge and needle bearings keep it spinning smoothly. The symmetrical, dual-sided design lets you clip in without looking down, and the 11.5 mm stack height (3-hole) keeps your foot close to the axle for efficient power transfer. Paired with the included Standard Tension Cleats, the Nano offers 3-axis adjustability, including micro-adjustable float from 0° to 15° so your heel can pivot freely for comfort and efficiency.

WHO IS THIS FOR

The Speedplay Nano is for road racers and weight-conscious riders who want the lightest pedal in the Speedplay range, along with Speedplay’s adjustable float and dual-sided entry. It’s best suited to climbers and racers who ride Okanagan hills hard. It has a rider weight limit of 82 kg (180 lb), so heavier riders should choose the Speedplay Zero, Aero or Comp, which have no weight restriction.

Our team will help you find the right size and get your cleats set up correctly at both Kelowna locations.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size Speedplay Nano?
The Nano comes in one size with a 53 mm Q-factor. The key sizing consideration is rider weight: the Nano has a maximum rider weight of 82 kg (180 lb). If you’re above that, or if you need a wider stance, ask our staff about the Speedplay Zero, which has no weight limit and offers 56, 59 and 65 mm spindle options through authorized dealers.

Q2: Is the Speedplay Nano compatible with my shoes and cleats?
The Nano fits standard 3-hole road shoes, and a 4-hole adaptor plate is available separately. It comes with Standard Tension Cleats and is also compatible with Speedplay Easy Tension Cleats, sold separately, for a lighter release. Speedplay pedals are designed for road cycling only. Wahoo recommends keeping your cleats clean before and during every ride, since off-road riding can damage the cleats or lodge debris inside them.

Q3: What’s the difference between the Speedplay Nano and the Speedplay Zero?
Both share the same dual-sided platform, 3-axis adjustable cleat, 11.5 mm stack height, 0–15° float range and included Standard Tension Cleats. The Nano uses a titanium spindle and carbon composite body to bring weight down to 168 g per pair, but it has an 82 kg (180 lb) rider weight limit. The Zero uses a stainless steel spindle and Grivory body at 222 g per pair, with no rider weight limit and optional longer spindles.
