HOW TO SET UP

As a Trek dealer, our team can dial in your contact points on the Checkpoint SL 7 AXS Gen 3 — saddle height, reach, and stem length across the six available sizes — so your riding position is comfortable from day one. We'll set your Bontrager tyres up tubeless and get pressure dialled for whatever mix of pavement, gravel, or light singletrack you're riding. Since this build runs SRAM's fully wireless Force XPLR AXS drivetrain, we'll also walk you through shifter setup and pairing with the SRAM AXS app if you'd like to customize your shift buttons. We offer ongoing servicing for both the drivetrain and IsoSpeed system, so you can keep the bike running smoothly for years of gravel adventures.

The Checkpoint SL 7 AXS Gen 3 is available in XS through XL, with cockpit dimensions (handlebar width, stem length, and crank length) scaled per size. General frame sizing is based on rider height, but because reach and stack vary between riders, we always recommend an in-store fit check. This isn't an e-bike — the Checkpoint SL 7 AXS Gen 3 is a fully human-powered gravel bike. The only battery onboard is the small SRAM eTap pack that powers the wireless AXS shifting, and it typically lasts for hundreds of kilometres of riding between charges rather than being tied to a single-ride range.
