The Shuffle 2 LED Child Helmet from Specialized is engineered specifically for young riders, developed in partnership with KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Mips using shared CAD designs and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to better understand the unique structure of children’s developing skulls; the result is a helmet constructed with lower-density foam in greater volume to help manage impact forces appropriately for softer, growing heads, while the integrated LED light enhances visibility for added safety on neighbourhood rides and bike paths.
