Product details

Climb Knox Mountain, then send it back down — the Smith Session MIPS is built for exactly that kind of day. Made for the all-mountain rider who wants speed and style in one protective package, the Session helmet pairs the ultralight feel and innovative protection of Koroyd® in strategic, zonal impact areas with confidence-inspiring coverage for bombing and blazing downhill. Generous air ports on top work with internal air channels to keep you cool on the climb and focused in descent mode, and the helmet accommodates easy goggle or eyewear storage so you can take in the view from the top without crushing your gear.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size Session MIPS helmet?
Sizing is based on head circumference: S fits 51–55cm, M fits 55–59cm, and L fits 59–62cm (this model runs S–L, with no XS/XL option). Our team can measure you in-store and check fit before you buy.

Q2: Is the Session MIPS compatible with goggles for downhill riding?
Yes — it's designed for ultimate integration with Smith performance eyewear and goggles, and the AirEvac™ ventilation system works with Smith goggles and eyewear to keep lenses fog-free. Bring your goggles in-store and our team can confirm the fit together.

Q3: Why does helmet fit matter for safety, and how do I check mine?
A helmet only does its job if it sits level and snug with no shifting when you move your head. The Session's VaporFit system lets you dial that in, and our staff can walk you through checking it properly in-store.
