Product details

Resort days at Big White and Silver Star bring plenty of distractions, from busy runs to light that shifts between full sun, shade and cloud. The Scott Trace Pro Light Sensitive Goggle is built for exactly those days, with a cylindrical lens design that delivers a clear, wide-open view. Its photochromic AMP LS Cinnamon Chrome lens automatically adapts, darkening in sunny conditions and brightening when it’s overcast, so you can keep skiing without stopping to change lenses.

WHO IS THIS FOR

The Trace Pro LS is for resort skiers and snowboarders with medium to wide faces who want one goggle that handles changing conditions all day. The photochromic lens is ideal for Okanagan days that move between bluebird skies, shaded tree runs and incoming cloud, and the larger frame offers a wide field of view. Riders with narrower faces can choose the Trace Pro Compact LS for the same lens in a smaller frame.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size Scott Trace Pro LS goggle?
The Trace Pro LS has a medium-to-wide fit. If you have a narrower face or find standard goggles too large, the Trace Pro Compact LS offers the same lens in a smaller frame. The goggle should sit snugly against your face with no gaps along the sides, and the foam should rest comfortably on your nose. Trying it on in-store with your helmet is the best way to confirm the fit.

Q2: Is the Trace Pro LS compatible with my helmet?
The Trace Pro LS uses a silicone-lined strap that helps it stay secure on most helmets, and its medium-to-wide frame suits larger helmets well. Fit can vary between brands, so bring your helmet into either location and our team can check that there’s no gap between the goggle frame and helmet brim.

Q3: What VLT% lens should I choose for Okanagan conditions?
VLT (visible light transmission) measures how much light a lens lets through. Lower VLT suits bright sun, while higher VLT helps in flat light and snow. Okanagan resort days often change quickly between sun and cloud, so a photochromic lens like the AMP LS Cinnamon Chrome S1–3, which adjusts across categories 1 to 3, covers most conditions with one lens. It isn’t designed for night skiing or very dense fog.
