Product details

When Kelowna's summer afternoons push toward 35°C, the best training rides start at dawn. The Rapha Pro Team Training Bib Shorts II are built for those early miles on the KVR and the Okanagan Rail Trail, rolling out in the cool morning air and finishing before the valley heat builds. A breathable mesh back panel and lightweight straps help regulate your temperature as the day warms up. A bulk-free chamois and compressive, supportive panels stay comfortable ride after ride, all season long.

WHO IS THIS FOR

These bib shorts are for road riders who log regular training miles and want a supportive, compressive bib that holds its shape through heavy use. Rapha rates them for 6–25°C, with a breathability rating of 4/5. That makes them a strong choice for Okanagan spring and fall riding and for summer rides that start early, before the heat sets in. The regular leg length and wide grippers stay in place without digging in. Rapha recommends pairing them with a base layer and the Pro Team Training Jersey.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right size and fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk gear and activity with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How does Rapha sizing run — true to size, or should I size up/down?
Rapha describes these bibs as having a compressive feel for maximum engagement. For reference, Rapha's model is 176 cm (5'9") and wears size S. Rapha doesn't give size-up or size-down guidance on the product page. Sizes run XS to XXXL. Because the fit is compressive, we recommend trying them on in-store at either Fresh Air location.

Q2: Are these bib shorts suitable for riding in Okanagan summer heat?
Rapha rates them for 6–25°C, and the mesh back panel and lightweight straps give them high breathability (4/5). They're ideal for early-morning summer rides and for spring and fall training. On peak-summer days when Kelowna climbs well above 25°C, ride early to stay within the shorts' intended range and to avoid the hottest part of the day.

Q3: How do I care for recycled nylon bib shorts to maintain performance?
Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours and tumble dry on a cool setting. Do not bleach, iron, dry clean, or iron the print. The main body is 79% recycled nylon/21% elastane, and the upper is 76% recycled polyester/13% polyester/11% elastane.
