Product details

Winter training in the Okanagan means cold air off the lake, damp roads, and climbs that leave you warm one minute and chilled on the descent the next. The Rapha Women's Pro Team Thermal Jacket is made for those rides. A windproof front membrane blocks the cold on early laps of the Okanagan Rail Trail and exposed lakeshore roads. A stretch back panel and two-way zip help you shed heat on hard efforts up Knox Mountain. New for 2026, it's Rapha's high-performance jacket for cold training blocks.

WHO IS THIS FOR

This jacket is for women who train on the road through the Okanagan's cold months and want serious wind protection without overheating. Rapha rates it for 0–8°C, with a windproof rating of 4/5, breathability of 4/5, insulation of 3/5, and water resistance of 3/5. It handles cold mornings, damp roads, and light splash well, but it is not waterproof, so pack a rain shell for wet days. Layer it over a thermal base layer or long sleeve jersey on colder rides.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right size and fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk gear and activity with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How does Rapha sizing run — true to size, or should I size up/down?
Rapha lists this jacket as an Endurance fit. For reference, Rapha's model is 174 cm (5'8.5") and wears size XS. Rapha doesn't give size-up or size-down advice on the product page. Sizes run XXS to XL. Try it on in-store at either Fresh Air location to find the right size.

Q2: Is this jacket suitable for cold Okanagan winter and shoulder-season road rides?
Yes. Rapha rates it for 0–8°C, which covers many Okanagan winter days and cold fall and spring mornings. The windproof front and C0 DWR coating handle cold wind and road splash, and the breathable back panel and two-way zip help you avoid overheating on climbs. It is not waterproof, so bring a rain jacket for steady rain.

Q3: How do I care for a DWR-coated membrane jacket to maintain performance?
Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours and tumble dry on a cool setting. Do not bleach, iron, dry clean, or iron the print. The main body is 49% recycled polyester, 42% polyester, and 9% polyurethane, and the stretch panels are 100% recycled polyester.
