Q1: How do I find the right size climbing skins?
Start with your ski's length and its widest point, usually the tip. Choose a skin width at least as wide as that point, so the skin can be trimmed to cover the full base while leaving the metal edges exposed for grip on firm snow. Then choose the length range your ski falls into. The Tour Pro 140 mm comes in 145–160, 155–170, 165–180, 175–190 and 185–200 cm. If your skis fall near the end of a range, bring them in and we'll help you choose.

Q2: Will the Tour Pro Ready2Climb fit my skis?
In most cases, yes. Pomoca designed the Ready2Climb adjustable tip loop to attach to any type of ski, and the Power Hook tail hook adjusts to fit. Q3: What's the difference between mohair, nylon and mohair-mix skins?
Mohair skins glide the most efficiently and pack down small, but they wear faster. Nylon skins grip strongly and last a long time, but they're heavier and glide less freely. Mohair-mix skins like the Tour Pro blend the two: the 65% mohair content gives efficient glide on long approaches, and the 35% nylon adds grip and durability. That balance makes a mohair mix a popular all-round choice for regular backcountry skiers.
