Product details

Wet roots and loose rock on the KVR or up around Knox Mountain demand a grip you can actually trust on a damp morning ride. The PNW Loam Grip XL is the larger-diameter version of PNW's popular Loam Grip, built for riders with bigger hands or anyone wanting more cushion, with a sticky, water-shedding compound that stays grippy rain or shine.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size grip for my hands?
The Loam Grip XL has a 34mm average diameter, noticeably larger than the regular Loam Grip's 30mm, and suits riders with bigger hands or anyone who prefers extra cushion. Our staff can help you compare both sizes in-store.

Q2: Is the Loam Grip XL compatible with my handlebars?
Yes — it fits standard 22.2mm grip ends, which covers nearly all mountain bike and flat handlebars, including those with 31.8mm or 35mm center clamp diameters.

Q3: Do these grips lock onto the bar, and is there a left/right side?
Yes, the Loam Grip XL uses a single lock ring per grip to clamp securely to the bar. There's no dedicated left/right grip, but PNW recommends installing with the clamp bolts toward the rear of the bike for easier access when adjusting.
