Long, punchy climbs on Knox Mountain are where every gram counts, and where a pedal that stays out of the way of rocks keeps you moving. OneUp’s XC Clip Pedal is built for cross country riding and racing, weighing 303 g per pair and measuring 26.8 mm thick, which OneUp says makes it the thinnest dual-sided MTB clip pedal on the market. It’s built around OneUp’s custom stainless steel, SPD-compatible binding, which offers a tighter cleat fit with no unwanted play while keeping 5° of float. OneUp says riders notice that fit most during hard efforts, out-of-the-saddle sprints and technical descents. Inside, an igus® bushing and two sealed cartridge bearings run on a chromoly axle protected by a double axle seal. The pedal shares a rebuild kit with OneUp’s Wave and Clip Pedals, so service parts are easy to find.
