Steep, chunky descents on Knox Mountain are where flat pedal grip matters most, and where a pedal that holds your foot in place builds real confidence. OneUp’s Wave Pedals use a patented hybrid profile: the concave front hugs the ball of your foot, while the sloped back half encourages an aggressive heels-down position for more power and control. OneUp says this also gives a more natural pedal stroke when seated. Because the shape naturally drops your heels, the pins are installed at an angle so they sit vertical while you ride, adding grip without needing longer pins. The forged and CNC’d aluminum body weighs 355 g per pair and runs on a sealed chromoly axle with an igus™ bushing and three outboard cartridge bearings. OneUp developed the Wave over 8 design iterations and more than 4 years of testing.

FAQ	Q1: How do I find the right size Wave Pedals? The Wave Pedals come in one size, with a 107 x 110 mm platform that’s 14.2 mm thick at the axle and 11.5 mm at the edges. The pins aren’t height adjustable. You can tune grip by adding or removing the optional pin at the axle end, using the spares included in the box. Q2: Are the Wave Pedals compatible with e-bikes, DH bikes and crank boots? Yes. OneUp rates the Wave Pedals for everything up to DH bikes and e-bikes, and confirms they’re compatible with crank boots. The pins are also cross-compatible with OneUp’s original Aluminum Pedals, though the internal parts are not. Q3: How often do the Wave Pedals need servicing? OneUp recommends servicing them at least once a season, twice a season if you ride every day, or whenever they stop spinning smoothly.
