Product details

Riding the KVR or climbing out of the valley on a long Okanagan road ride, you spend hours tucked low and looking up the road through the top of your glasses. The Oakley Radar EV Path is built for that position. It takes the original Radar design, developed with some of the world's best athletes, and adds a taller lens that extends your view at the top edge, where standard sport glasses cut it off. The lightweight O Matter™ frame stays comfortable through long rides, and Unobtainium® earsocks and nosepads keep it in place as you sweat. This version pairs a matte black frame with the Prizm™ Road lens, which lets through 20% of light and boosts contrast so you can spot changes in the road surface sooner.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Radar EV Path is for road cyclists, gravel riders and runners who spend long hours outside and want glasses that stay put and don't block their view. The taller lens helps most when you're riding in a low, forward position on drop bars. The Prizm™ Road lens works well in the mixed light of the Okanagan, from open orchard roads to shaded stretches along the lake. Oakley also offers the Radar EV Path with prescription lens options.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size Oakley Radar EV Path sunglasses?
The Radar EV Path is Oakley's standard fit, suited to most adult faces. It should sit snugly at the temples without pinching, and the nosepads should keep the lens off your cheeks so it doesn't fog. For smaller faces, Oakley also makes the Radar EV S Path. Trying both on in-store is the easiest way to compare.

Q2: Are the Oakley Radar EV Path sunglasses compatible with my cycling helmet?
The Radar EV Path is a popular choice for cycling, but how the arms sit depends on your helmet's retention system and straps. Bring your helmet in and our staff will check the fit with you. If you need prescription lenses, Oakley offers prescription options for this frame. Ask in-store for details.

Q3: What VLT% lens should I choose for Okanagan conditions?
VLT is the percentage of light a lens lets through, so a lower number means a darker lens. The Prizm™ Road lens has 20% VLT and is rated for medium light. That makes it a versatile all-round choice for Okanagan road and gravel rides that pass through both full sun and shaded sections. On the brightest midsummer days, a darker lens such as Prizm™ Road Black or Prizm™ Black may feel more comfortable. Our staff can help you compare the options.
