Product details

At Silver Star, a morning of sun on the upper runs can turn into low cloud by lunch, and a goggle that fogs or lets in cold air at the nose makes those changes harder to handle. The Oakley Line Miner Pro L (Low Bridge Fit) has the same optics as the standard Line Miner Pro, in a frame shaped for a lower nose bridge. Oakley also calls this an Asia Fit. Its single-layer lens reduces distortion, refraction and reflection, and it gives 20% more field of view than the original Line Miner. Two lenses come in the box, and Switchlock™ technology makes swapping them quick and secure. This version pairs a matte black strap with the Prizm™ Snow Argon Iridium lens, a Category 3 lens with 14% light transmission for sun-and-cloud days.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This goggle is for skiers and snowboarders with medium-to-large faces whose standard-fit goggles gap at the bridge of the nose, sit on the cheeks, or slide down during the day. A low-bridge frame closes that gap. That keeps out cold air and snow and helps prevent fogging. Notches at the temples leave room for most prescription glasses, and the low-profile frame is designed to work with most helmets. If you want Oakley's top optics and two lenses for changing conditions but standard goggles never sit right on your face, this is the version to try.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How do I know if I need a Low Bridge Fit goggle?
Try on a standard-fit goggle and look for a gap between the foam and the bridge of your nose. Also check whether the goggle rests on your cheeks or slides down when you look toward your feet. If either happens, a Low Bridge Fit will likely seal better. The Line Miner Pro L in this fit is a large frame for medium-to-large faces. Trying both versions side by side in-store is the quickest way to tell.

Q2: Is the Line Miner Pro L (Low Bridge Fit) compatible with my helmet and prescription glasses?
The low-profile frame is designed to improve helmet compatibility, and notches at the temples make room for most prescription glasses. Every helmet brim is shaped a little differently, so bring your helmet and glasses in-store and we'll check the fit with you.

Q3: What VLT% lens should I choose for Okanagan conditions?
VLT is the percentage of light that gets through the lens, so a lower number means a darker lens. The Prizm™ Snow Argon Iridium lens has 14% VLT and is rated Category 3 for mixed sun and cloud, which is what most days at Big White and Silver Star look like. The second lens in the box covers different light. Ask our staff which lens comes with your colourway and when to switch. With Switchlock™, a lens change takes seconds on the chairlift.
