Product details

On a clear bluebird morning at Big White, when the sun is bouncing off fresh snow, a dark, high-contrast lens helps you read the terrain. The Oakley Fall Line L belongs to Oakley's Line Series of cylindrical snow goggles. It combines the open field of view of a rimless frame with a large fit that suits a wide range of faces and is built to sit well with most helmets. This version pairs a matte black strap with the Prizm™ Snow Black Iridium lens, a Category 4 lens with 5.5% light transmission for bright-light days. Oakley's Ridgelock system lets you swap lenses quickly while still sealing the lens fully against wind and snow, so you can set the goggle up for whatever the Okanagan forecast brings.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Fall Line L suits skiers and snowboarders who want a wide, rimless view and a goggle that works with their helmet. It fits medium-to-large faces best. Discreet notches at the temples make it compatible with most prescription glasses, so it's also a solid option for riders who wear their glasses under a goggle. The Black Iridium lens is the right choice for sunny days at Big White and Silver Star. Riders who often ski in flat light can add a replacement lens for overcast days.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size Oakley Fall Line L goggle?
The Fall Line L is Oakley's large-fit version, with a wide fit and a universal-fit nosepiece. It suits medium-to-large faces. If you have a smaller face, the Fall Line M offers the same design in a more compact size. The most reliable check is to try the goggle on with your helmet. It should sit snug against your face with no pressure points and no gap at the brow or nose.

Q2: Is the Oakley Fall Line L compatible with my helmet and prescription glasses?
Oakley engineers the Fall Line L to fit most helmets, and the rimless frame is designed to improve helmet compatibility. The 50 mm adjustable strap has a silicone lining that keeps it secure on the helmet. Notches at the temples allow room for most prescription eyewear. Bring your helmet and glasses in-store so our staff can confirm the fit before you hit the slopes.

Q3: What VLT% lens should I choose for Okanagan conditions?
VLT (visible light transmission) is the percentage of light that passes through the lens. A lower number means a darker lens. The Prizm™ Snow Black Iridium lens has a 5.5% VLT, which makes it a Category 4 lens for bright, sunny days. Big White and Silver Star also get plenty of fog, cloud and flat light, and a dark lens can make those days harder to see in. If you ski in mixed or low light often, consider a Fall Line L replacement lens rated for overcast or snowy conditions. With Ridgelock, switching lenses takes seconds.
