Product details

We offer shipping for Norco Bikes within Canada for a $250 flat rate (bicycles and frames) or $350 for e-bikes

Whether you're linking up the gravel sections of the KVR out past Myra Canyon or piecing together a mixed-surface loop on the Okanagan Rail Trail, the Norco Search A1 Apex is built to handle whatever surface shows up next. It pairs a lightweight, butted aluminum frame with new-school gravel geometry — a taller headtube, slacker head angle, and longer reach — for a ride that stays confident whether you're roaming backcountry doubletrack or racing the local gravel scene.

WHO IS THIS FOR

The Search A1 Apex suits a rider who wants one bike for a lot of different days — commuting into work one morning, then loading up bags for an overnight route on the KVR the next weekend. Its 1x SRAM Apex XPLR drivetrain and wide tire clearance make it equally at home on paved valley roads, hardpack rail trail, and looser backcountry gravel. It's a strong fit for someone stepping up from a road or hybrid bike who wants more versatility without jumping to a full mountain bike.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

GEOMETRY & SIZING

Frame geometry and sizing details for the Norco Search A1 Apex are available on the Norco website. Norco offers the Search A1 Apex in SZ1 through SZ5. Our team at Fresh Air can help you find the right frame size based on your height, inseam, and riding style — come in to either Kelowna location and we'll get you dialled in.

HOW TO SET UP

Our team will get your contact points dialled in first — saddle height, reach, and stem length — so the Search A1 Apex's fit matches your riding style, whether that's fast valley loops or loaded touring days. We'll also set tire pressure to suit the WTB Riddler tread for the surfaces you ride most, from Okanagan Rail Trail hardpack to looser KVR gravel, and check that your SRAM Apex HRD shift-brake system is adjusted to your hands. If you're planning to run this bike with a bikepacking setup, we can walk through fender, bag, and bottle mount options using the frame's full complement of adventure mounts.
