Knox Mountain's skills park and jump features are a proving ground for riders pushing their dirt jumping, and the Norco Rampage 1 is built for exactly that kind of riding. This is a no-frills, purpose-built dirt jump hardtail — aluminum 26" DJ frame, Manitou Circus Comp coil fork, single-speed drivetrain, and Maxxis Ikon tyres front and rear. It rides predictably off the lip, holds its line through the air, and puts consistent power down on landing, making it an ideal platform for riders working on progression or looking for a durable everyday DJ bike.

WHO IS THIS FOR |
The Rampage 1 is aimed at beginner-to-intermediate dirt jump riders who want a proven, purpose-built platform to develop their jump technique and air time — without paying for premium components they'll grow into later. It suits riders moving beyond a general trail bike and ready to focus on jump-specific skills, whether that's at a local dirt jump park, a skills area, or on hand-built features. The single-speed setup keeps maintenance simple and the geometry is dialled for predictable pop and control through the air. Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425. |

FAQ |
Q1: What size Norco Rampage 1 do I need? The Rampage 1 comes in MD and LG. As a general guide, MD suits riders roughly 5'2"–5'11" and LG fits taller riders — though on a DJ bike, personal preference for standover and reach plays a big role. Check the geometry chart at norco.com (https://www.norco.com/bikes/mountain/dirt-jump/rampage/25-rampage-1/) and come in to either Fresh Air location for hands-on sizing with our team. Q2: Is the Norco Rampage 1 right for Kelowna? Kelowna and Lake Country has skills park and jump features that suit a purpose-built DJ bike like the Rampage 1 well — it's at home on jump lines, pump tracks, and technical features. If you're planning to ride primarily singletrack trails, a trail hardtail or full suspension bike may be a better fit. Not sure which direction to go? Come talk to us in-store and we'll point you the right way. Q3: What's the difference between a hardtail and a full suspension mountain bike? A hardtail like the Rampage 1 has a suspension fork up front but a rigid rear triangle — this is the standard setup for dirt jump bikes because it's lighter, stiffer, and puts more pop into your jumps. Full suspension bikes have rear shock absorbers as well, which adds comfort and traction on rough trail riding but adds weight and complexity. For dirt jumping and park riding, hardtail is the right call. Come in to either Fresh Air location and we can walk you through which setup suits your goals. |
