FAQ

Q1: What seat post sizes does the Vmax+ 180 ALTO fit?
It fits seat post diameters from 15.8mm to 31.6mm, covering most road, commuter, and gravel bikes (27.2mm is the most common size). The integrated clip also lets you wear it on a bag, jacket, or backpack strap.

Q2: Is the Vmax+ 180 ALTO compatible with my bike or gear?
Yes — the included rubber mount fits standard round seat posts, and the clothing clip is a backup option for bikes with aero or non-round posts. Our staff can confirm fit in-store before you buy.

Q3: Does Brake Sensing Technology require a special mount or sensor on my bike?
No — Brake Sensing Technology works using the light's built-in accelerometer to detect deceleration, so it functions on any bike without additional hardware. It simply needs to be mounted upright on the seat post for accurate detection.
