The Leki Detect S is a freeride pole built for challenging off-piste runs, pairing a durable 16 mm HTS 6.0 aluminium shaft with Leki’s Trigger S safety system, designed to release in a fall and help minimise the risk of injury. The Trigger S Pro G grip has an extra-soft, non-slip surface for reliable traction, and the wider, more comfortable frame strap clips in and out of the grip with ease.

Q1: How do I find the right size Leki Detect S ski pole?
The Detect S comes in fixed lengths from 110 to 135 cm in 5 cm steps. A common starting point is to stand in ski boots, flip the pole upside down, and grip it just under the basket; your elbow should sit at roughly 90 degrees. Height, skiing style, and preference all play a role, so our staff can help you confirm the right length in-store. The Trigger Frame Strap Mesh comes in S, M, and L to match your hand size.

Q2: Is the Leki Detect S compatible with Leki Trigger gloves?
Yes. The Detect S uses Leki’s Trigger System, and all alpine Trigger straps and gloves are compatible with all alpine Trigger poles. If you ski with Leki Trigger gloves, you can clip directly into the pole without the included strap.

Q3: Can I use the Detect S on both groomers and powder days?
Yes. The Detect S comes with a compact Cobra Alpine basket for groomed slopes and a larger Big Mountain exchange basket that’s ideal for deep snow. Both baskets can be changed easily by hand, so you can set the pole up for the day’s conditions without tools.
