Product details

From long skin tracks in the backcountry near Silver Star to bootpacks above Big White, touring days are won or lost on comfort, and blisters can end them early. Le Bent's award-winning Cody Townsend Pro Series was built with direct skin-track feedback from one of the world's most respected big mountain and backcountry skiers. Silicone grippers at the heel and calf lock the sock in place to minimize heel lift while you hike. A semi-compression zero cushion profile keeps the fit precise for the descent, and Le Bent's Signature Merino Blend stays fresh over multi-day trips.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size Le Bent Cody Townsend sock?
Size by your shoe size using Le Bent's chart. S fits US men's 3–5.5 / women's 4–6.5 (Mondo 21.5–23.5). M fits men's 6–8.5 / women's 7–9.5 (Mondo 24–26.5). L fits men's 9–11.5 / women's 10–12.5 (Mondo 27–29.5). XL fits men's 12–14.5 / women's 13–15.5 (Mondo 30–33). A touring sock should fit snugly with no bunching, so if you're between sizes, our staff can help you choose in-store.

Q2: Is the Cody Townsend Pro Series compatible with modern ski touring boots?
Yes. Le Bent recently removed the extra toe-box cushioning after feedback from Townsend and the backcountry community that modern touring boots no longer need it. The zero cushion profile and anti-wrinkling instep keep the sock thin and flat inside the boot.

Q3: What's the difference between the Cody Townsend and Elyse Saugstad Pro Series socks?
Both are zero cushion backcountry socks with the same technical features, including silicone heel and calf grippers, shin and calf compression, and mesh ventilation. The Elyse Saugstad has a women's-specific fit with a slightly shorter forefoot and leg height. The Cody Townsend uses Le Bent's standard sizing and comes in Black.
