Product details

The Hoka Clifton 11 is the latest version of one of the most popular daily trainers on the market, built for runners and walkers who want maximum cushion without the bulk. It keeps the same compression-molded EVA midsole, 42mm heel stack, and 8mm heel-to-toe drop that made the Clifton 10 a fan favourite, with a refreshed engineered mesh upper, a softer sockliner, and new reflective details for low-light visibility. Whether you're logging easy miles along the KVR trail or putting in daily steps around Knox Mountain, the Clifton 11 delivers a smooth, rockered ride that holds up mile after mile.

KEY FEATURES

Engineered mesh upper — softer, more pliable construction with generous padding around the heel and ankle for everyday breathability and comfort

Compression-molded EVA (CMEVA) midsole — Hoka's tried-and-true foam delivers a plush, protective ride built for high mileage, day after day

Durabrasion rubber outsole — strategically placed rubber in high-wear zones for reliable traction on roads, sidewalks, and the Okanagan's paved multi-use paths

Waterproofing — none on the standard mesh upper; a GTX (Gore-Tex) version may be available separately for wet-weather use

J-Frame™ support + Active Foot Frame — a wide, stable base that gently guides the foot and helps prevent overpronation without overcorrecting your stride

8mm heel-to-toe drop — suits heel-to-midfoot strikers looking for a smooth, forward-rolling transition via Hoka's Meta-Rocker geometry

Weight (per shoe) — approx. 283g (9.97 oz) in men's, prioritizing cushion and all-day comfort over speed

Low-profile ankle collar — padded for a secure, comfortable hold without restricting ankle mobility on long days

Removable EVA insole — open-cell sockliner reworked for added cushion and better moisture-wicking; compatible with custom orthotics

Reflective details — added trim for visibility on early-morning or dusk runs along Okanagan Lake or Mission Creek

FAQ

Q: Are these shoes true to size?
A: Yes, the Clifton 11 generally fits true to size with a roomier toe box than past versions, thanks to an updated last. If you wear thick socks or prefer extra wiggle room, our staff can help you decide whether to size up or try a wide width — come in for a free in-store fit assessment.

Q: Are the Clifton 11 waterproof / suitable for wet Okanagan trails?
A: The standard Clifton 11 uses a breathable mesh upper and is not waterproof — it's built for road and light gravel use, not wet trail conditions. For spring mud, creek crossings, or early morning dew, ask our staff about a Gore-Tex (GTX) version or a more trail-specific Hoka model.

Q: Can I try the Clifton 11 on before buying at Fresh Air Kelowna?
A: Yes — come into either Kelowna location and our staff will assess your gait and fit, and help you choose between sizes or similar models. No appointment needed, though calling ahead during peak season (spring and fall) is a good idea.
