Giro Ledge MIPS — Adult Snow Helmet

Wrap a soft measuring tape around your head, keeping it level from front to back, just above your eyebrows. Compare the measurement to Giro's adult sizing: S 52–55.5 cm, M 55.5–59 cm, L 59–62.5 cm, XL 62.5–65 cm. The helmet should fit with a little room when the fit system is loose. It should also sit low enough to protect your forehead without blocking your vision. Once you have the right size, use the Auto Loc 2 settings to fine-tune the fit.

Q2: Is the Giro Ledge MIPS compatible with my goggles?
Giro designs its helmets and goggles to work together, giving a seamless interface for fit and function. Most other goggle brands will also work, but frame shape varies. The best test is to try your goggles on with the helmet in-store and check for a gap between the goggle frame and the helmet brim.

Q3: Why does helmet fit matter for safety, and how do I check mine?
A helmet can only protect you properly if it stays in position during a fall. A loose helmet can shift on impact and leave your forehead or temples exposed. To check your fit, put the helmet on and set the Auto Loc 2 system so it feels snug but comfortable. Then shake your head gently side to side and front to back. The helmet should move with your head rather than sliding around. The front edge should sit about one to two finger-widths above your eyebrows.
