Product details

Whether you're scoping landings in the park at Big White or picking your line through flat light at Silver Star, clear vision makes every run better. The Giro Contour offers the largest field of view in its class, with a new toric lens shape developed with ZEISS® Optics. Expansion View Technology+ trims down the frame for wide peripheral vision, and the VIVID lens boosts contrast so you can read the snow. A bonus VIVID Infrared lens is included for low light and storms, and the magnetic Quick-Change Lens System makes swapping lenses fast. EVAK vents release moisture to help prevent fogging.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Contour is for skiers and snowboarders who want the widest possible view and premium optics in a stylish frame. It's a great fit for park riders spotting take-offs and landings, all-mountain skiers who want maximum peripheral vision, and anyone who deals with changing Okanagan light and wants a low-light lens on hand. If you're comparing it with the Giro Article II, the Contour is the pick for a bigger field of view.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size Giro Contour goggle?
The Contour is offered in a single frame size. A well-fitting goggle should seal evenly against your face with no pressure points or gaps, and the foam should sit comfortably on your cheekbones and nose. Because the Contour has a large lens, try it on in-store to make sure it suits your face shape.

Q2: Is the Giro Contour compatible with my helmet?
Giro designs its helmets and goggles to work together, so the Contour fits seamlessly with Giro helmets. It also works with many other brands' helmets, but fit depends on the helmet's brow shape and goggle clip. Bring your helmet in and our staff will check for gaps between the goggle and helmet.

Q3: What VLT% lens should I choose for Okanagan conditions?
VLT (visible light transmission) is the percentage of light a lens lets through. A lower VLT is better for bright, sunny days, and a higher VLT is better for flat light, fog and storms. Giro's VIVID lineup ranges from darker tints like Jet Black and Onyx for full sun, to mid-range tints like Royal, Rose Gold, Copper, Emerald and Ember for mixed clouds, to Infrared for overcast and stormy days. For the Okanagan, where Big White and Silver Star often see fog and flat light, the Contour's bonus VIVID Infrared lens is a big advantage. Every Giro lens filters 100% of harmful UV.
