Product details

Bluebird mornings and sudden fog are both part of a typical day at Big White and Silver Star, so a goggle that handles both makes every lap easier. The Contour RS (short for Contour Reduced Size) is a slightly smaller version of the original Contour with a refined silhouette, made for skiers and snowboarders who have smaller-than-average faces and want frameless style. A toric lens shape, Expansion View Technology+ and VIVID lenses work together to show the features on the mountain clearly, so you can spot takeoffs and landings with ease. A bonus low-light lens comes in the box for stormy days.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Contour RS is for skiers and snowboarders with smaller or narrower faces who want premium optics without a goggle that overwhelms their face or slides under the helmet brim. It suits riders who change lenses as the light changes. That means a sunny morning at Silver Star, flat light by afternoon, or the fog Big White is known for.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size goggle — Contour RS or standard Contour?
The RS is the reduced-size version, built for smaller-than-average faces. The standard Contour fits a medium-to-large face. A good fit seals evenly against your face with no pressure on the nose and no gaps at the cheeks. If you wear glasses, note that prescription glasses fit tighter in the RS than in the standard Contour, so try them together in-store

Q2: Is the Contour RS compatible with my helmet?
It's designed to integrate with Giro helmets. It will work with many other brands, but fit at the brow varies. Bring your helmet to either location and our staff will check that the goggle sits flush with no gap at your forehead.

Q3: What VLT% lens should I choose for Okanagan conditions?
VLT (visible light transmission) is the percentage of light a lens lets through. Lower VLT means a darker lens for sunny days, and higher VLT means a brighter lens for low light. Okanagan ski days often swing from strong sun to fog and flat light. The Contour RS covers both with a sun/all-condition primary lens and a VIVID Infrared low-light lens, which you can swap in seconds on the chairlift.
