Product details

Cold chairlifts at Big White and frigid morning tours at SilverStar call for more than a standard baselayer. The Flylow Puffer 3/4 Pant adds fluffy 40g Primaloft insulation panels right where you need them most — upper thighs front and back — over a tough gridded fleece base, giving you a little extra warmth on deep Okanagan powder days without adding bulk.

KEY FEATURES

Gridded Furano Fleece body (90% polyester, 10% elastane) with a smooth face that blocks wind

Strategically placed 40g Primaloft Black Eco insulation panels on the front and back upper thigh

Pertex Quantum exterior fabric over the insulated panels, DWR-coated to dispel wind, rain, and snow

Stretch waistband with drawstring for a secure, adjustable fit

Open hand pockets for quick-access storage

3/4 length hits just above the ski boot to avoid layers bunching underfoot, with a slim, low-profile fit for easy layering

WHO IS THIS FOR

The Puffer 3/4 Pant is built for skiers and riders who feel the cold on chairlift rides or early tours at Big White and SilverStar and want a warmer baselayer without switching to a bulkier mid-layer. The insulated thigh panels and gridded fleece body add targeted warmth while staying slim enough to layer cleanly under your shell. Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right size and fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk gear and activity with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How does Flylow sizing run — true to size, or should I size up/down (and does it accommodate a base/mid-layer)?
The Puffer 3/4 Pant has a Slim, contoured athletic fit meant to be worn as your base layer under a shell pant or bib, not layered over another base layer. Most riders find their usual size works well, but our team can help you dial in sizing in-store.

Q2: Is this pant warm enough for cold Okanagan chairlift days and early tours at Big White or SilverStar?
Yes — the 40g Primaloft insulation panels on the upper thighs add targeted warmth for cold lift rides and touring, while the gridded fleece body regulates temperature and blocks wind underneath your shell layer.

Q3: How do I care for the Furano Fleece and Pertex Quantum fabric to maintain its warmth and DWR performance?
Machine wash with a technical cleaner (avoid regular detergent and fabric softener), rinse thoroughly, and tumble dry on low heat to help reactivate the DWR coating. Avoid high heat, which can damage the Primaloft insulation and fleece face.
