Q1: What size Electra Townie Go! EQ do I need?
The Townie Go! EQ comes in two sizes. The S/M rolls on 26" wheels and generally fits riders from about 4'11" to 5'9". The M/L uses 27.5" wheels and generally fits riders from about 5'4" to 6'4". If you’re in the overlap between the two, it comes down to your inseam and how you like to sit, so a quick in-store fit is the easiest way to decide. Q2: Is the Electra Townie Go! EQ right for riding the Okanagan Rail Trail?
It’s a great choice for relaxed rides on the Rail Trail’s smoother stretches and for linking neighbourhoods around Kelowna. The 2.35" balloon tyres and upright position keep things comfortable, and the throttle makes starts easy. The fenders and rack let you bring along a picnic or a change of clothes. It’s built as a cruiser for paved and hard-packed paths rather than rough or loose trails.

Q3: How far can I ride on a single charge, and what factors affect range?
Electra Canada rates the Townie Go! at up to 80 km per charge from its 520Wh battery. Using the throttle drains the battery faster than pedal assist. Other factors that affect range include your assist level, rider and cargo weight (including anything on the rack), hills, headwinds, tyre pressure, and cold temperatures. The Trek Central app includes battery life extension options to help you stretch your range. A full charge takes about 5.5 hours with the magnetic charger.
