Product details

For young skiers building confidence on the runs at Big White or Silver Star, the Atomic Revent Visor JR combines helmet and eye protection in one piece. The integrated Visor ID Lens sits flush with the helmet's curve for a wide field of view, and Flash mirror lens technology cuts glare. Atomic's Holo Core crumple zone adds impact absorption. The 360° Fit System adjusts to your child's head size and shape, and the Aircon Venting and removable liner keep them comfortable from cold mornings to spring slush.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Revent Visor JR is a strong pick for kids who struggle with goggles. It suits young skiers whose goggles fog, slip, or leave a gap at the brim, and families who'd rather not keep track of a separate pair. The all-in-one visor design is quick to put on and take off between runs. The washable liner and included helmet bag make it easy to care for through a busy season of lessons and family ski days.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size Atomic Revent Visor JR for my child?
Wrap a soft measuring tape around your child's head, keeping it level from front to back, just above the eyebrows. Compare the measurement to Atomic's sizing for the Revent Visor JR: XS 48–52 cm, S 51–55 cm, M 55–59 cm. If your child falls in the overlap between XS and S, try both on in-store. Avoid sizing up for growth, since a helmet that's too big won't stay in place during a fall and the visor won't seal properly against the face. The 360° Fit System lets you fine-tune the fit within the correct size.

Q2: Does the Revent Visor JR replace goggles?
Yes. The integrated Visor ID Lens is designed to be worn in place of goggles. The visor is certified to EN 174:2001, the European standard for ski goggles, and the Live Fit Frame foam molds to the face to help keep out wind and snow. If your child wears prescription glasses, bring them in so we can check how they fit under the visor.

Q3: Why does helmet fit matter for kids' safety, and how do I check it?
A helmet can only protect your child properly if it stays in position during a fall. A loose helmet can shift on impact and leave the forehead or temples exposed. To check the fit, adjust the 360° Fit System until the helmet feels snug but comfortable. Then have your child gently shake their head side to side and front to back. The helmet should move with their head rather than sliding around. With the visor down, the frame should sit evenly against the face without pressing on the nose. The chin strap should be snug with room for about one finger underneath. Recheck the fit at the start of each season as your child grows.
