Product details

Skinning up Big White before the lifts open or hiking Knox Mountain on a frosty morning, you need warmth that won't leave you overheated once you're moving. The Arc'teryx Satoro Merino Toque is built for high-output days in the mountains. Its high-performance wool blend gives you breathable warmth when you're working hard, so you stay at a comfortable temperature whether you're pushing to a summit or climbing in the cold. Low-profile stitching and a minimalist construction let it fit comfortably under a helmet, and it's reversible for two looks in one.

WHO IS THIS FOR

The Satoro Merino Toque is for ski tourers, winter hikers and climbers who generate a lot of heat and need a light, breathable layer rather than a heavy winter toque. It's also a good thin layer under a ski or climbing helmet on cold days. Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to work with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How do I find the right size Arc'teryx Satoro Merino Toque?
The Satoro Merino Toque comes in one size, with a stretchy jersey knit (6% elastane) that adapts to most heads. It should sit snugly over your ears without pressing on your forehead. You're welcome to try it on in-store.

Q2: Can I wear the Satoro Merino Toque under a ski or climbing helmet?
Yes. Arc'teryx designed the Satoro with low-profile construction and merrow stitching so it fits comfortably under a helmet without pressure points. Check that your helmet still fits correctly with the toque on, because some helmets may need a fit-system adjustment.

Q3: How do I wash a merino toque without damaging it?
Arc'teryx recommends washing the Satoro inside out on a gentle, low-temperature machine cycle with wool detergent. Don't use fabric softener or bleach, and don't wring it. Remove it from the machine right away and dry it flat. Merino resists odour naturally, so you won't need to wash it after every use.
