Product details

The Völkl M7 Mantra skis are built for strong, aggressive skiers who want to charge hard across everything the Okanagan has to offer — from fast groomed runs at Silver Star to Big White's bumps, trees, and variable snow. At 96mm underfoot, the flagship Mantra uses a Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile, 4 Radius Drive sidecut, and a Tailored Titanal Frame to deliver serious stability and edge grip the harder you push it.

KEY FEATURES

4 Radius Drive sidecut with four distinct turn radii for progressive turn shaping, from quick initiation to a powerful, dynamic finish

Tailored Titanal Frame with metal content scaled to each ski length for stiffness, direct power transmission, and stability at speed

Tailored Carbon Tips with individually positioned carbon fibers for precise tip response and added torsional stiffness

Multilayer Woodcore of beech and poplar for a powerful, damp, and stable flex

Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile with tip and tail rocker for easier turn initiation and a cambered midsection for grip on hardpack

P-Tex 2100 sintered base with a brushed structure for fast, durable glide

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The M7 Mantra is built for advanced to expert skiers who like to drive a ski hard, mixing fast groomers at Silver Star with bumps, trees, and variable snow at Big White. It rewards strong technique and confident input rather than a relaxed, cruising style, and gets better the harder you push it.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right ski/board and size in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q. What is 4 Radius Drive sidecut and how is it different from a regular sidecut?
A regular sidecut uses one or two turn radii along the length of the ski, while 4 Radius Drive blends four distinct radii — a quick-turning radius in the shovel, a longer radius for stability at speed, a tighter radius underfoot for agility, and another longer radius behind the binding for a dynamic finish. In practice, this lets you shape your turn just by shifting your weight forward or back through your boots, giving you one ski that can lay down a long, fast carve on a Silver Star groomer or snap into a tight turn in the trees at Big White.

Q. How does the Völkl M7 Mantra compare to the previous M6 Mantra?
Compared to older versions like the M5 and M6, the M7 initiates turns more easily, feels less demanding at slower speeds, and is noticeably more maneuverable off the groomers, thanks to updates in the Tailored Titanal Frame and Tailored Carbon Tips. It hasn't lost any of the stability and edge grip the Mantra is known for at speed — it's simply easier to live with across a wider range of conditions and skiing styles
