Long Okanagan valley road loops, from rolling lakeside stretches to the steady climb toward Myra Canyon, reward a bike that stays comfortable hour after hour. The Domane SL 6 AXS Gen 5 is Trek's lightweight carbon endurance bike. It is built on a 500 Series OCLV Carbon frame with relaxed Road Endurance geometry that sits you slightly more upright than a race bike. Wireless SRAM Rival AXS 2x12 shifting keeps the front end clean and gear changes crisp. Bontrager Aeolus Elite 50 carbon wheels help you hold speed on flats and rollers. With room for 40mm tyres, a vertically compliant seatpost, and mounts for frame bags and fenders, it handles rough chip-seal and the odd gravel connector as easily as smooth pavement.

 

 

KEY FEATURES

Frame: 500 Series OCLV Carbon with relaxed Road Endurance geometry, internal cable routing, T47 threaded bottom bracket, integrated chain keeper, and a UDH 142x12mm thru-axle rear end.

Drivetrain: SRAM Rival AXS wireless electronic 2x12 with a 48/35 crankset and a 10-36 cassette. The SRAM AXS battery pack and charger are included.

Brakes: SRAM Rival AXS E1 levers with SRAM Paceline 160mm centerlock rotors on flat-mount discs. The frame accepts up to 180mm front and 160mm rear.

Wheels / Tyres: Bontrager Aeolus Elite 50 OCLV Carbon wheels (50mm rim depth, tubeless ready) with Bontrager Kwaremont Pro 700x35mm tubeless-ready tyres with GR puncture protection. They ship set up with 6oz of Bontrager TLR sealant.

Cockpit: Bontrager Comp Riser alloy bar with 20mm rise and 70mm reach (36–42cm width depending on frame size), a Trek RCS Pro −7° stem, Trek gel cork tape, and a Bontrager RSL carbon 27.2mm seatpost designed to flex and soak up road chatter.

Weight: 8.64 kg / 19.05 lb (size ML, with tubeless sealant, no tubes). Maximum combined weight limit is 125 kg / 275 lb.

HOW TO SET UP

Before you leave the shop, our team can set your saddle height and setback, adjust the stem and bar position, and check cleat alignment if you're riding clip-in pedals. The Domane uses a round 27.2mm Bontrager RSL seatpost, so fine-tuning your position is simple. We'll set tyre pressure for the 35mm tubeless Kwaremont Pro tyres based on your weight and the roads you ride. We can also pair your SRAM Rival AXS drivetrain with the SRAM AXS app to customise shift settings, and connect your bike computer or sensors so everything talks to each other. We also offer ongoing tune-ups, tubeless sealant refreshes, and AXS firmware updates as you rack up the kilometres.

Q1: What size Trek Domane SL 6 AXS do I need?
Trek's sizing chart is a good starting point. XS fits riders roughly 143–158 cm (4'8"–5'2"), S fits 158–162 cm (5'2"–5'4"), M fits 162–173 cm (5'4"–5'8"), ML fits 173–179 cm (5'8"–5'10"), L fits 179–188 cm (5'10"–6'2"), and XL fits 188 cm (6'2") and up. Inseam and flexibility matter too, especially if you fall between two sizes. Crank length, bar width, and stem length also change across the size run.
