Product details

Whether you're building confidence on Silver Star's groomers or starting to explore steeper runs, a binding matched to your size and skiing makes every day on the hill smoother. The Marker Squire 11 is a proven choice for women and lighter skiers, now updated with a modern toe shape and an improved step-in. A new Anti-Ice Rail plate lets you scrape snow and ice off your boot sole without damaging the DIN window. The Squire 11 also comes in a wide range of fresh colourways.

HOW TO SET UP

Binding mounting and DIN setting is a safety issue, not just a setup step. Our certified technicians will mount your bindings and set your DIN to the appropriate range for your height, weight, boot sole length, and ability level in-store at Fresh Air Pandosy (555 Groves Ave) or Fresh Air Dilworth (1656 Dilworth Drive).

FAQ

Q1: How do I know if these bindings are compatible with my skis?
The Squire 11 is compatible with Alpine (ISO 5355) and GripWalk (ISO 23223) boot soles. For brake fit, Marker recommends a brake width equal to or no more than 15 mm wider than your ski's waist width. The binding comes in 90, 100, and 110 mm brake widths, and our team will confirm the right size for your skis in-store.

Q2: Do I need to get these bindings mounted, or can I install them myself?
Ski bindings should always be mounted by a certified technician. Mounting position, boot sole length adjustment, and DIN setting all affect whether your binding releases when it should, and holds when it shouldn't. Bring your skis and boots to either Fresh Air location and our technicians will mount and set them up for you.

Q3: What DIN setting is right for me, and why does it matter?
DIN is the release value that controls how much force it takes for your boot to release from the binding. Set too low, you risk pre-releasing mid-turn; set too high, the binding may not release in a fall. That matters especially for lighter skiers, which is why the Squire 11 starts at a lower setting of 3 and goes up to 11. The right setting for you depends on your height, weight, age, boot sole length, and skiing ability, and our certified technicians will calculate and set it for you in-store.
