Product details

The Line Wallisch Shorty junior freestyle ski brings the same lightweight, bomber feel as the adult TW Pro down to a size that suits growing skiers exploring park features and easy terrain at Big White or Silver Star. This 139cm and 149cm size run pairs the ski with the larger 7.0 FDT GW binding, built for taller or heavier young riders ready to start spinning and sliding with more confidence.

KEY FEATURES

Built with the same tech as the adult Tom Wallisch Pro, scaled down for younger riders

Aspen core keeps the ski lightweight and easy to control for growing skiers

Cap construction adds durability for the bumps and knocks of a season of family days

Soft flex makes turn initiation and park features easy to access for developing skiers

Comes with 7.0 FDT GW bindings included, sized for taller or heavier junior riders

Available in 139cm and 149cm lengths to match a range of junior heights

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Wallisch Shorty in this size suits beginner to intermediate young skiers who've outgrown the smallest junior lengths and want to start exploring park features and easy freestyle terrain rather than stick strictly to groomers. Its soft flex and playful shape keep it forgiving as they build confidence.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right ski and size in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q.What's the difference between the 4.5 FDT GW and 7.0 FDT GW versions of the Wallisch Shorty?
Both use the same 72mm-waist ski — the difference is the binding and size run. The 4.5 FDT GW pairs with the shorter 119cm and 129cm lengths for smaller kids, while the 7.0 FDT GW pairs with the longer 139cm and 149cm lengths and a binding sized for taller or heavier junior riders.

Q.How do I know if my child needs the 139cm or 149cm length?
As a general guide for junior freestyle skis, the ski should reach somewhere between your child's chin and nose when standing next to it. Weight and ability level matter too — our team can help confirm the right length in-store rather than going by height alone.

Q.Are the bindings on the Line Wallisch Shorty adjustable as my child grows?
The included 7.0 FDT GW bindings have an adjustable mounting range to accommodate different boot sole lengths, which helps the ski fit as your child's boots grow from season to season. Our team can check and adjust the binding position in-store as needed.
