Product details

The Line Optic 104 is built for hard-charging skiers who want one ski to handle everything from Big White's deep Okanagan powder to the firm, variable snow that shows up on a typical Silver Star day. At 104mm underfoot with a Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile, it floats through fresh snow while still holding an edge when conditions firm up, making it a strong daily driver for skiers who spend their whole season on the hill.

FAQ

What is Gas Pedal Metal Overdrive and how does it affect performance?
Gas Pedal Metal Overdrive is Line's Titanal laminate layout, which focuses metal across the width of the ski underfoot while adding separate Titanal pieces in the tip and tail. This gives the Optic 104 strong edge grip and torsional stability at speed while keeping the overall feel lively rather than dead or overly stiff.

How does the Line Optic 104 compare to other skis in Line's freeride lineup?
The Optic 104 is the widest, most float-oriented ski in Line's metal-laminate Optic series, built specifically for big-mountain charging and soft snow performance. Narrower Optic models are better suited to firmer, more groomer-focused days, while the 104 underfoot width prioritizes flotation and stability in deeper or variable snow.

Is the Line Optic 104 good for powder days?
Yes. The Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile and 104mm waist give it confident float in fresh snow, particularly on Big White powder days, while the cambered midsection keeps it stable and precise once you're back on groomed terrain at Silver Star.
