Product details

The Lange Concept 12 GW BOA all-mountain ski boot pairs a 120 flex with a roomy 103mm last, so skiers with wide, high-volume feet get real performance without the squeeze. It's built for the days you go from Silver Star's long groomed cruisers in the morning to chopped-up Big White powder by the afternoon. The BOA® dial on the lower shell lets you snug things up for a fast carve or back off between laps, all without unbuckling.

FAQ

Is a BOA ski boot as precise as a traditional four-buckle boot?
For most skiers, yes. Because the BOA® wraps the whole forefoot evenly instead of pulling at two points, many skiers find it holds the foot as well as buckles do, and with fewer pressure points. The Concept 12 keeps two alloy buckles on the cuff, so you still get firm, familiar control where your shin drives the ski.

Is a 120 flex too stiff for an intermediate skier?
It depends on your weight, strength and how hard you ski. A 120 suits strong intermediates moving into advanced terrain, and heavier skiers who fold softer boots. The Concept 12 also has a cuff insert that softens the flex by about 8%, which gives you some room to adjust as you progress.

What does "GW" mean in a ski boot name?
GW stands for GripWalk. It means the boot has a rockered, rubberized sole that makes walking much easier. GripWalk boots need a GripWalk-compatible binding, so check your bindings or bring your skis in and we'll confirm compatibility.
