Product details

The K2 Medium unisex freestyle snowboard, redesigned for 2027 with pro rider Jake Kuzyk, is built to hold its own on the park features at Big White or Silver Star. Its true twin shape and traditional camber profile give it a predictable, symmetrical flex whether you're riding switch off a jump or lapping rails, while a deeper sidecut and smoother tip-and-tail blend zone add stability at speed without losing the nimble feel needed for street-style tricks.

KEY FEATURES

True Twin, Traditional Shape — identical flex and feel riding regular or switch

BAP Core — tri-blend Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia wood for rebound and strength

Carbon DarkWeb™ — 45° carbon stringers running in an "X" pattern from the inserts for stability at speed

Carbon Backbone™ — pre-cambered carbon inlay between the inserts for extra ollie pop and takeoff snap

Hybritech™ Construction and Sintered 4000 base for reduced swingweight and durable, fast glide

WHO IS THIS FOR

The Medium is built for advanced-to-expert freestyle riders who want a true twin board that feels the same switch as it does forward, whether they're lapping park laps or hitting street features. Its all-inclusive sizing (141cm–159cm) and predictable camber flex make it a solid pick for riders locking in their park setup at Big White or Silver Star.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right ski/board and size in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

What is a true twin snowboard shape and how does it change riding switch?
A true twin board has identical tip and tail dimensions, identical sidecut on both ends, and centered inserts, so the flex and feel are the same no matter which direction you're riding. On the K2 Medium, that symmetry is why switch landings and switch takeoffs feel just as natural as riding forward — there's no "wrong way" to ride the board.

Is a camber profile good for jumps, rails, and park riding?
Camber gives a board strong pop off jumps and lips, precise edge hold locking into rails, and a lively, springy feel underfoot that a lot of park and freestyle riders prefer over rocker. The Medium's camber profile is paired with the Carbon Backbone™ inlay specifically to add extra snap to ollies and takeoffs, which is a big part of why it's built around advanced-to-expert freestyle riding.

What size K2 Medium should I ride for park and street features?
Board size for park and street riding usually comes down to your height, weight, and whether you prioritize stability at speed or a nimbler, more playful feel for jibbing — the Medium runs from 141cm up to 159cm to cover that whole range. Since sizing also depends on boot size and personal preference, our team can help you dial in the right length in-store at either Kelowna location.
