FAQ

Q.Is a flex 130 ski boot too stiff for an advanced (non-expert) skier?
A 130 flex is on the stiffer end of the scale and is generally best suited to expert skiers who ski aggressively or at speed; strong advanced skiers can grow into it, but it may feel demanding for those still building technique.

Q.What's the difference between GripWalk and ISO 5355 soles on the Cortex 130?
The Cortex 130 Zonal BOA ships with an ISO 5355 alpine outsole preinstalled for standard alpine bindings, and includes a GripWalk ISO 23223 outsole in the box that can be swapped in for better walking grip when paired with GripWalk-compatible bindings.

Q.How does a dual-zone BOA® Fit System work compared to a single BOA boot?
A dual-zone setup uses separate BOA® dials for the lower shell and upper cuff, so you can independently fine-tune forefoot hold and cuff/calf tightness rather than adjusting the whole boot with one dial.
